Cost to export is a measurement of export costs for a sample product, in this case a 20-foot container priced in USD. All the fees associated with completing the procedures to export of import goods are included such as cost for documents, administrative fees for customs clearance, inland transport etc. Note that the cost measure does not include tariffs or trade taxes. The data is published by the World Bank through it’s Doing Business Group.
