Tertiary Gross Enrollment Rate (GER) refers to the number of secondary school graduates, regardless of age, that succesfully enroll in tertiary education including universities and institutions that teach specific capacities of higher learning.The data is slightly different from Net Enrollment Rate (NER), in that it includes students that whose age exceeds the official age group. The data is published annually by UNESCO and the World Bank.
